The Perfect Day Out

A charming Georgian market town once known for mining and hat-making, Atherstone is now home to England’s newest booktown, established in 2005. Several shops have since opened, and quality second-hand books are also available in other businesses around town. There are also several longer-established bookshops within easy driving distance. Atherstone boasts a number of excellent pubs and eateries, making a trip to Atherstone Booktown the perfect day out.
